The Lord Is There.

Reading: Ezekiel 47-48, Psalm 26, 2 Timothy 3, and Titus 3

Scripture: Ezekiel 48:35, The circumference of the city shall be 18,000 cubits. And the name of the city from that time on shall be, The Lord Is There.

Thoughts: Ezekiel has spent that last few chapters being shown the temple in heaven and how the temple on earth was only a shadow of the true temple in heaven. Paul in tells or reminds the church in Corinth in his first letter to them “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16) As I was reading this last passage in the book of Ezekiel about the name of that city will be “The Lord Is There” with us being the temple and having the Holy Spirit in us ever city we live, every place we dwell for a time shall be The Lord Is There. Are we living as if God we are the Temple and that the places we dwell are called The Lord Is There? Let God’s glory shine through your life and point all who know you to Him.

Prayer: Father God you are the creator of all thing, your glory shines though all creation. I thank you that I can be an interment to point others to you. I thank you for the refining and drawing me closer top you. I thank you for my family and those around me who help me to dive deeper into me relationship with you. I ask that you help me to be your light in this dark world.
