Reading: Leviticus 26, Psalm 12, and John 16
Scripture: Leviticus 26:8, Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
Thoughts: As I read this passage about with God’s favor upon Israel they would have the power to overcome enemies to the point of 100 to 1. We have been adopted into the family through Christ and in Ephesians 6:17 it says to take the helmet and the Sword. Even though today we don’t have swords and helmets to battle our enemies in the physical but we have been given God’s armor and that includes the Sword of the Spirit. We have been given the ability to win our battles against the evil one even we are outnumbered. Let us raise a battle cry unto the lord and walk in the victory that Christ has already secured for us. Let us raise up a battle cry Rak Chazak Amats!
Prayer: Lord God you are the victory. I thank you that you are our strength and power to overcome all things. Help us to raise up our battle cry every day as we go to battle in this fallen world.
