Reading Ephesians 1 Ezekiel 27-28
Scripture: Ephesians 1:5, “he predestined us for adoption as
sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will”
Observation: This section of scripture is full of all sorts
of good stuff but this verse just jumped out reminding me that we are adopted
into God’s family though with Son and the covenant that was sealed by Christ on
the cross where God and man’s blood flowed bringing the two families into one.
Application: In the adoptions we have been made heirs
together and all we need to do now is accept that gift though believing that
Jesus is the Christ and that he died for our sins and brought us into God’s
family.
Prayer: Lord, I thank you for sending your son to die on the
cross and bridge the gap between us and you/ Lord, I ask you to bring people into
to lives of unbelievers to share your love with them and draw them into your
loving embrace. I pray for the leaders of this town, county, state, and nation may
they know you and draw their wisdom from you and not the public.
