Today’s reading Act 23, Jeremiah 11&12, and Psalms 97
The Scripture that stood out to me today was Jeremiah 12:5a
“If you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you, how will you
compete with horses?”
Observation: This Scripture reminded me of 2 Timothy 4:7 “I
have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
And these are showing that God knows there are Challenges ahead of us. There
are going to be things set before us that don’t seem possible but he has called
us to do it. We need to keep the faith and keep moving forward and finish that
race.
Application: We need to prepare for what is to come there
are going to be trials and tribulations in our lives. With God, who can stand
against us? To prepare for and know if we are running the right race and
fighting the right fight we need to stay in the word and seek the Lord. The
more time you send in the work and fellowshipping with God and his people the
better you will become at overcoming the trials and tribulations of this world.
You need to know who to overcome the evil one in Jesus name. Don’t come into a
trial without having the full armor of God on.
Prayer: Lord, help us to seek you and use your word to prepare us
for the trials that are coming. Help us to run with horses.
