Beautiful feet

Reading: Exodus 24-25, Psalm 129, Romans 10, and Matthew 27

Scripture: Romans 10:15, And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Thoughts: Jesus gave us after his resurrection what we call The Great Commission, we are told to go into all the world and preach the good news. We have been given the good news, and many people believe that it’s the job of the pastors and priests of the world to shar the gospel so we just need to get them to church so that they can do their job. The Greek used here for to preach it kerysso – to publish, proclaim openly: something which has been done. When you have encountered Christ and know him, we are to preach the good news. This really just looks like telling our story about encountering God. What it your God encounter story, and have you shared it with anyone?

Prayer: Father, you are so wonderful your creation shouts your glory and majesty. I thank you that I have a story to share. I ask that you help me to see those who you have for me to speak to and share your love with.
